The lens resolution tests on this site were held by

Being originally started as a part of the tests held by subscribers of Pentax-Discuss mailing list (PDML), this lens resolution test project basically follows the PDML procedure. I have added some additions to the procedure to get more detailed results. One is the additional six test charts on the target to get intermediate resolutions between the center and the corner. One is the film used; high resolution Kodak T-MAX 100. One is the employment of a mirror to check parallel of the target and the film plain. Keep in mind that the resolution is the resolution. It will not say nothing but resolution. Resolution is just a factor to determine the character of a certain lens. |
